I have always been obsessed with SNL. I remember too many years ago doing my best to stay up late with my brothers to watch the show, specifically the parody commercials that they did, and continue to do, so brilliantly. From Super Bass-O-Matic ’76 to Totino’s, Colon Blow to the Adobe (the car that’s made out of clay!). So, since I live and breathe the ad biz, I thought it made sense to dip my toe into the ridiculousness that comprises fictional products and the commercials promoting them. Because after all, without advertising, we would all be so bored, right? So we created AgileSpots, a division of AgileCat dedicated to pure silliness on film.

Because the ‘Cat is an insanely efficient group, it doesn’t take long for a little idea to start sprinting like a cheetah after a gazelle with a cheeseburger through its horns at dawn. Sure there are “spirited” debates about the smallest of details but ultimately, we know the goal is get it done, and get it done right. As the first of our productions “Happy Summer Face” took flight, we benefitted from amazing partner: Dom Episcopo and crew, as well as good friends who were happy to pitch in and spend hours outside on a windy, 20 degree day in the City of Brotherly Love. 

A ton of time spent, a bit of a monetary investment, and freezing your you know what off, for what exactly? Simply for the joy that laughter brings to our agency, and that we hope we can bring to a world that seems to be at odds with itself more than ever. We hope you enjoy this first spot as we get crackin’ on the next one, and the one after that. In the meantime, stay agile, kittens.
