CitiTrends teamed up with AgileCat to build a bold in-store brand identity for their community of trendsetters and bargain-hunters.
We crafted a playful, confident brand voice—using creative language and custom visuals inspired by CitiTrends’ iconic logo—to tell a unified story.
Their flagship Virginia store became the blueprint, with vibrant designs, swagger-filled signage, and standout wayfinding.
The five Fs that CitiTrends uses to describe their culture are “Fresh,” “Friendly,” “Fashionable,” “Fair,” and “Fun.” AgileCat used the five Fs as a guidepost to create department statements and directional signage that brought out the brand voice in full force.
From wall graphics and pop-up banners to window displays and feature fixtures, AgileCat brought CitiTrends’ brand to life with bold style and personality—setting the standard for store experiences that all CitiTrends locations nationwide will now follow.
To enhance the in-store experience, we introduced a welcoming front window design that immediately connects with the local community by featuring the town or city name. This engaging concept invites customers in while reinforcing CitiTrends’ commitment to community involvement.
AgileCat went beyond surface-level design by branding CitiTrends’ company values and purpose statements through engaging visuals. These designs were crafted to express emotion and feeling, making the statements more relatable for employees. This approach empowered CitiTrends staff to connect with the brand on a deeper level, transforming them into enthusiastic brand ambassadors.
