KOP Restaurant Week is Heating Up
It’s that time of year again: KOP Restaurant Week and KOP Shops for CHOP is in full swing! There’s nothing like some delicious bites and a little retail therapy to help combat the winter blues; and when you add in the fact that proceeds directly benefit Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), the month of March is starting to look pretty darn rosy.
We thought we’d get everyone in the spirit by sharing all the incredible work that we’ve put into renaming, rebranding, and advertising these incredible events for King of Prussia District (KOP-BID). From a new website and all new social accounts to display advertising and more, we made shopping and dining for a good cause look as great as it feels!
We designed the new website, which meets Level AA Web Accessibility guidelines, from scratch. Everything you could ever ask for is right at your fingertips, from dining options organized by category and price point to featured retailers organized by daily offers — all presented in a beautiful Art Deco style.
So let’s talk numbers.
In 2019, KOP restaurants and retailers raised $54,500 for CHOP — over twice as much as the previous year! In the past 5 years, these events have raised a total of $112,500. 2020 is shaping out to be the biggest year yet with 30 restaurants, 10 fast-casuals, 20 retailers, and 29 companies participating. Right now OpenTable is reporting 1,452 reservation covers made thus far, a 16 percent increase compared to the 1,252 reservations this time last year!
And we’re just getting started. Stay tuned to find out what we’ve got planned to further bolster KOP’s booming shopping and dining scene. In the meantime, head on over to koprestaurantweek.com and book your reservation today!
